Testimonials
Students of all ages
tell in their own words how the Reylson Gracie Jiu~Jitsu
System has impacted
their lives.
Dear GM Gracie,
As your humble student may I offer the following testimonial
on the Academy's behalf:
Over the past fourteen years, I have had the great privilege
of learning jiu-jitsu directly from several members of the
Gracie family and other top practitioners from Brazil. I can
say without hesitation that Grandmaster Reylson Gracie
offers the best path for those who wish to learn his
family's unique system. I believe there are two basic
reasons for this.
First, Grandmaster Reylson emphasizes self-defense and the
practical aspects of jiu-jitsu over sport competition. Most
people who seek out the martial arts are primarily
interested in how to effectively protect themselves and
their loved ones. Most are not primarily drawn to jiu-jitsu
for the purpose of winning a trophy for their school (which
has become, regrettably, the sole focus of most jiu-jitsu
teachers).
Secondly, Grandmaster Reylson offers a well thought-out,
sequential program of instruction for the individual
student. This alone puts him light years ahead of other
jiu-jitsu teachers. In the typical academy that offers
Brazilian jiu-jitsu, instruction can be disorganized,
haphazard and of uneven quality. Advancement in these
schools is uncertain and limited only to those who are
superior natural athletes.
Grandmaster Reylson's program is the great equalizer that
opens Gracie Jiu-jitsu to all people from all walks of life
who want to learn its power. In this way, Grandmaster
Reylson remains uniquely true to the vision of his father
Carlos Gracie, the founder of Gracie Jiu-jitsu.
I live in Southern California where I have access to the
largest selection of Brazilian jiu-jitsu teachers outside of
Rio. Even so, I find it more than worthwhile to regularly
make the trip all the way to Las Vegas to study the original
Gracie system from Grandmaster Reylson Gracie and his well
qualified staff of instructors.

When I first heard about Reylson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, I
thought it would be one of those one room buildings with one
instructor and 10 or 20 kids. It's not that at all. Every
time I go to Jiu-Jitsu it is always one on one.
I have been going for over 2 years. Jiu-Jitsu is very
fun even though it is hard work. I look forward to my lesson all week. The instructors
are very lively and humorous. In the beginning it was
difficult because I was so shy. I am not so shy
anymore. Jiu-jitsu is very challenging but I really
enjoy it. I work hard and
the other people here respect me.
Sincerely,
